Carlow and Kilkenny’s intermediate camogie champions go head to head in Nowlan Park this Sunday at 1pm and we’ll be there for full commentary with Brendan Hennessy at the helm.
Myshall and Tullaroan contest the AIB Leinster Intermediate Club Final, throwing in at 1pm in what’s the only championship fixture of the season remaining that will pitch both counties against each other.
Myshall will be coming into the game in good form, boasting the likes of Junior player of the Year nominee Kate Nolan and the high scoring Ciara Quirke amongst their ranks. Tullaroan too come into the final in fiine form, brushing aside Ballyboden St. Enda’s in a comprehensive victory in the semi-final stages, running out 3-11 to 1-03 victors in that fixture.
You’ll be able to catch all the action live from Nowlan Park, coupled with updates from each of the hurling and football championship fixtures live on KCLR from around 12.50pm Saturday on both our Kilkenny and Carlow frequencies.
We’ll have a preview of the final on The Way It Is on Friday evening from 6.30pm.
In a pre-cursor to the intermediate club final, there are five of Kilkenny’s senior camogie stars in the running for this year’s Camogie All-Star awards including Edwina Keane (full back), Claire Phelan (half back), Aisling Dunphy (midfield), Ann Dalton (half forward) and Katie Power (full foward). Those results will be known Saturday night with Citywest Hotel in Dublin hosting the ceremony.
