Kilfane Handball Club Chairman Tom O’Keeffe is hopeful their new 40 x 20 Handball Court will be ready for action in the not too distant future.
Speaking to KCLR, Tom says it’s an expensive but worthwhile project.
He said “40 x 20, it’s been built at the minute. We have moved on a little bit from there again, roofed and plastered outside there and working on the inside now so hopefully in the next 6 to 8 weeks they will be ready for play”.
“It cost a lot of money, it’s a big job for a small club like, it is a big undertaking like but look we have been at it for the last couple of years and we decided to go ahead and it is going ahead now anyway”.
