Thomastown Intermediate Hurling Captain James Burke says their is brilliant character around the squad.
Speaking to KCLR after Saturday’s Intermediate League Final victory over Tullaroan, James says the character stands to them when they play tough games.
He said “The character around the squad is brilliant. I mean all the lads get along so well and we always pull together”.
“We go down and we train tough, mightn’t always agree with each other on the field, but off the field we are the best of friends and I suppose that stands to us when we go out and play tough games like this”.
