Former Eire Og Senior Footballer Willie Quinlan says the current Eire Og squad are a very special bunch who have the capabilities to win a Leinster title.
Speaking to KCLR after Sunday’s Leinster Senior Quarter-Final victory over Sarsfields, Willie says they had strength in depth to their panel in abundance.
He said “It’s all about winning the next two games. If they can win the Semi-Final and push on and do something in the final, it would be great because this bunch of guys are a little bit special”.
“We probably have 8 or 9 guys on the sideline that are as good as what is starting on the team and that just shows every single day when you have that, you have a great battle within training and it can only be good to push on to the next round”.
