Kilkenny Youths Inter-League Manager Derrick Kenny says preparations have gone very well ahead of Sunday’s opening Inter-League clash away to Waterford.
Speaking to KCLR, Derrick says they have had plenty of training sessions and prepared as best they can.
He said “We’re Training I suppose probably nearly 9 to 10 weeks now at this stage”.
“First game against Wexford was supposed to be played a month ago, it just got postponed from their end of things so yeah we probably have about I suppose 11 or 12 training sessions behind us now so we are in good stead, preparation wise a couple of lads carrying a few knocks before Sunday, but hopefully they recover in time to line out on Sunday”.
