Eire Og Under-20 Football Manager Derek Hayden says there is a strong possibility that Jordan Morrissey won’t feature in their County Championship Semi-Final clash on Sunday afternoon against Michael Davitts as he will be playing in tomorrow (Saturday) night’s Leinster Senior Semi-Final clash against Portlaoise.
Derek will tog out also for the Eire Og Seniors tomorrow night, and speaking to KCLR, he says that Jordan definitely won’t feature on Sunday if he picks up a knock against Portlaoise.
He said “It really depends on how the game goes for him”.
“It’s going to be a tough game, the ground is going to be soft, so it’s going to be heavy on the legs, if he gets a knock at all like, he is not going to feature and maybe he didn’t feature at all on Sunday because of what he goes through on Saturday evening like, you have to look at player welfare as well”.
