Wexford Youths Ladies Soccer Player Blessing Kingsley says that Republic of Ireland International Alan Browne was a big influence on her declaring for Wexford Youths.

The 17-year-old Graiguecullen native was a member of the Wexford Team that won the FAI Ladies Cup Final at the beginning of the month against Peamount and speaking to KCLR, Blessing is delighted she heeded his advice.

She said “He was a big part. He introduced me he said, I was actually about to go to Peamount and I was about to make my decision and then Alan just said, I need you to see Ferrycarrig to see what it’s like and maybe he might change his decision and the second I stepped into Ferrycarrig I was like, this is where I want to be so”.
