Ballyhale Shamrocks Senior Forward Colin Fennelly says that having the young players coming through was a strong factor in defending their County title this year.
Speaking ahead of Sunday’s Leinster Senior Club Final showdown against St. Mullins, Colin says the young players their now was something that was lacking after their previous County title in 2014.
He said “The last one was last year, but before that was back in 2014 so it was, and probably in them few years in between we thought we never get back here again and to be in it last year and to follow up with one the year after is an amazing achievement for ourselves”.
“We are absolutely delighted and it’s just great to have the young lads I suppose coming through like that and keeping the Team going, we probably didn’t have it in 2014, we have it this year and it’s fierce fortunate that way”.
