O’Loughlin Gaels Manager Martin Comerford said the hurt of last year drove them on to win yesterdays Kilkenny Under 21 A Hurling Championship.
They beat Ballyhale Shamrocks 1-19 to 13 points.
Martin told KCLR that they got their tactics right.
He said “I’d say we have seven or eight of our senior team playing there, which is great to see young lads coming through in the club”.
“I suppose after the hurt of last year, It drove us on big time, we were very much focused on working and trying to snuff out their key men, was our key discipline today and we worked it well, to keep Adrian and Eoin fairly quiet you know”.
