IT Carlow produced a shock in the Sigerson Cup knocking the reigning champions UCC out of the competition.
Kiltegan man Padraig O’Toole scored two goals.
They will now meet Letterkenny in Wednesday’s Semi Finals.
The hurlers beat GMIT on Friday in round two of the Fitzgibbon Cup.
