Wexford Senior Hurling Selector JJ Doyle says an awful lot of work needs to be done if they are to equal or surpasses last achievement’s in which they were crowned Leinster Senior Champions.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of today’s (Sunday) National League clash against Kilkenny, JJ says it’s going to be very difficult to have another successful year.
He said “I suppose winning Leinster ourselves last year, it’s all well and good telling guys that they are capable of winning things, you kind of have to go and do it before you can actually truly believe it, and I think that’s given the boys maybe an extra boost for this year, but we also realize an awful lot of work has to be done to get back to where we were last year never mind surpass what we did last year so”.
