Carlow Senior Hurling Manager Colm Bonnar is confident they will have a big say in the Joe McDonagh Cup campaign despite the disappointment of getting relegated from Division One of the National League.
Speaking after Sunday’s defeat against Westmeath, Colm says they will use the time off between now and the Joe McDonagh campaign to re-group and get their appetite back for hurling.
He said “We are obviously hugely disappointed, but the players are going back to their clubs for three or four weeks, we will have to regroup, as disappointed as we are, the Joe McDonagh is another competition this Championship, and we will have a big say in it yet so as I said it will be about regrouping and getting the appetite back for Hurling”
