Euro 2020 has been postponed until 2021.

The Norwegian FA has tweeted that the tournament will be moved inside the last hour.

UEFA har bestemt at EM utsettes til 2021. Det skal spilles fra 11. juni til 11. juli neste år. Mer informasjon kommer.

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the tournament will now be played from 11 June to 11 July 2021.

UEFA’s Executive Committee is meeting to consider the impact of the coronavirus on action in Europe.

Today’s meeting is also discussing how the Champions League and Europa League will finish. Moving the tournament out to next summer is designed to give club teams a chance to finish out their respective seasons.

The Premier League, La Liga, Serie A and a host of other European leagues are already on hiatus for a few weeks with doubts over whether domestic competitions will be able to conclude.

Euro 2020 was due to see games hosted in Dublin as part of a multi-city setup, with the competition originally running 12 June to 12 July.
