The Premier League will meet again today to discuss a number of issues ahead of fixtures restarting in two weeks time.
On the agenda will be whether clubs will be willing to play certain matches at neutral venues on police advice.
They’ll also try to come up with a plan to finalize the league table if the season cannot be completed due to the pandemic- but the potential for scrapping relegation is not expected to be on the agenda.
Clubs will also vote on whether to allow up to five substitutes during games. West Ham manager David Moyes doesn’t want the Premier League to approve the use of five substitutes during games. Moyes believes rules can’t be changed half way through a competition.
A fixture list for the first few rounds of the restarted season are also due to be confirmed, along with kick-off times and broadcast plans. Amazon Prime has announced it will make all four of their remaining Premier League matches this season free to air.
It means 33 of the 92 top-flight games, shared between Sky Sports, BT Sport, Amazon and the BBC, can be viewed without a subscription.
