Kilkenny’s Ciaran Brennan has been named on the Republic of Ireland’s U15 team to two friendlies against Poland in Louth later this month.

Head Coach Colin O’Brien has named the East End United player in his squad his squad for the games

The sides will meet at Rock Celtic FC on Tuesday, November 24 (7.00pm) and Thursday, November 26 (12.00pm).

“These are first two officials fixtures after the players were identified following the Kennedy Cup then we have conducted a three day training camp and held further assessments,” said O’Brien.

“These games will give some indication where the players are at in relation to what is required at international level and it’ll be the highest standard they’ll have played so far in their careers.
