Rás na mBan PRO Declan Quigley gave some insight into the decision to postponed Ireland Premier woman cycling event that was due to take place in Kilkenny this September.

Quigley mentioned that travel restrictions for international contestants proved to be the deciding factor however he is hopeful the event will take place in October:

“It really is a cosmopolitan affair and we like to get was many teams from as many different countries as possible, until we get some good news on that we can’t really think about international squads, so therefore we’ve gone to Plan B and that is to hopefully run the race in October”
