Revised schedule for Carlow club action released

The Inter county season continues to be a debate amongst the GAA community, about weather its feasible or not to go ahead.

Fermanagh GAA suspended all activity following a Covid-19 spike in the number of inter-county players testing positive. With club action being suspended all over the country Ronan Dempsey from Carlow GAA says they are worried.

“We are worried, I think the real fear amongst the intercounty set up is we might be able to start but how far can we get? We are all in the dark and no body knows”

In regards to club action, Carlow GAA has released a the following statement

Following last night’s Meeting of Coisde Bainistí the following decisions regarding the finish of our outstanding Club Championship games were made:

(a) Ml. Lyng Motors SFC:
Semi-Finals – Sun. Jan. 10th 2021, (if GAA/Govt. restrictions allow)
Final – Sun. Jan. 17th 2021, (if GAA/Govt. restrictions allow)

(b) Talbot Hotel IFC Final: Ballinabranna v Kildavin-Clonegal
3 weeks after Inter-County Championship activity has finished in 2020 for players involved from both Clubs and if GAA/Govt. restrictions at that time allow.

(c) Talbot Hotel JFC A Final: St. Patrick’s v Tinryland
3 weeks after Inter-County Championship activity has finished in 2020 for players involved from both Clubs and if GAA/Govt. restrictions at that time allow.

(d) JFC B & C Finals:
3 weeks after Inter-County Championship activity has finished in 2020 for players involved from both Clubs and if GAA/Govt. restrictions at that time allow.
