Kilkenny manager Brian Cody says it’s up to all of us to play our part to ensure the inter-county season gets underway and to see it’s completion.
Kilkenny are back in action in a few week’s time as the county hurling and football competitions get into full swing for the run into winter.
Brian says it would be a shame if the championships suffered again:
We all have to be realistic and realise at the moment, things are not good, team numbers are in a bad place, and it’s down to all of us to ensure we can do everything possible because if things get were to get out of hand, who knows what’s going to happen and it will be just so so disappointing if sport were to suffer at inter-county level again.
