Wexford Youths player Blessing Kingsley has said that she is very excited to move to America where she has received a scholarship to attend the University of South Mississippi.
Speaking to KCLR Sunday Scoreline at the weekend, Carlow woman Kingsley also spoke about the different challenges that will face her in the U.S:
She said “It’s crazy to wrap my head around it, but it’s coming around and I just can’t wait to get started, it’s going to be a different game, over here it’s a lot more technical, a lot more pass and move, but in the states it’s a lot more physical, and the strength is a total different aspect of the game, something I definately can improve on once I get over there, and bring it back to my game hopefully”.
