Carlow hurling manager Colm Bonnar says despite their good performance in their draw with Antrim last week, they need to get wins in the competition.
They’re in Joe McDonagh cup action this Saturday when they take on Meath in Netwatch Cullen Park.
Colm says they can still strengthen their squad as they’ve players to come back:
“We’ve more players coming back and they’re putting their hand up and they want to play for Carlow and that’s putting pressure on the lads that are playing, they want to keep starting so they have to keep their performance levels up, so we’re going in the right direction but at this stage we have to start winning” he said.
