England head coach Eddie Jones has referred to the Ireland squad as the ‘United Nations’.
The Australian coach was alluding to the five players on Ireland’s starting 15 who only qualify to represent Ireland thru the residency rule.
South African’s Quinn Roux and CJ Stander and New Zealand born James Lowe, Bundee Aki and Jamison Gibson-Park are set to start tomorrow’s clash against England at Twickenham. Carlow’s Ed Byrne has been named on the bench for the tie, with James Ryan set to Captain Ireland for the first time.
