For Irish rugby fans – at least those who aren’t attached to clubs around the country – it looks like Christmas might be coming a little earlier.
Much sought-after tickets for next year’s RBS 6 Nations will be available to members of the Irish Rugby Supporters Club via Ticketmaster on Wednesday morning next. There’s a 48 hour window for supporters club members to pick up tickets for the 2016 fixtures.
Tickets officially went on sale through local clubs to members earlier this autumn.
According to IrishRugby.ie
Members will be able to purchase up to six tickets with a maximum of four for any one game, e.g. four tickets for Ireland v Wales and two tickets for Ireland v Scotland or two tickets for each game – subject to availability.Tickets will be available in Category 1 with a limited number of Premium Level and other category tickets on sale. Schoolboy/girl tickets will not be on sale. These tickets are sold through affiliated clubs and schools only.
A Category 1 ticket against Wales will set you back €80, down to €40 for a category 4 ticket. If you’re a member of the Irish Rugby supporters club, you’ll get an email with a password to access the sale this coming Monday.
Any remaining tickets will go on public sale thereafter.
