Leinster made it five wins in a row over Munster with a late Jordan Larmour try the difference at Thomond Park on Saturday evening.
An early JJ Hanrahan penalty, followed quickly by a try from Tadgh Beirne put Leinster on the back foot, 10 points down with just over 10 minutes on the clock.
Johnny Sexton pegged three back for the visitors (25) before cutting the deficit to four (40), a six-point turnaround at the break.
Munster, unbeaten at home this season yet failed to score from there out, JJ Hanrahan missing a brace of penalties – his first long-range effort (40) bouncing off the left post, his second (45) drifting right of the posts.
Jordan Larmour would get the game-winning try (68) with Ross Byrne converting with ease to take a 13-10 victory away from Limerick.
The result leaves Leinster just one point off Ulster in Conference A, albeit with a game in hand.
Munster remain top of Conference B, 12 points clear of Cardiff Blues with two games in hand.
