Patrick O’Flynn has been ratified as the Carlow U20 Hurling Manager for a further two years.
His backroom team consists of selectors Eoin McGrath from St Martins and Adrian Corcoran the former Carlow hurler & footballer.
The side will be coached by Alan Roche of Young Ireland’s in Kilkenny, Alan is a former WIT Fitzgibbon winning coach and has been involved with the Kilkenny Senior Camogie team & Thomastown.
The strength and conditioning will be done by Seamus Comerford.
Other members of the backroom team are Physio: Ciara Curry (Naomh Eoin), Sports psychologist: Orla Curry (Naomh Eoin), Video Analyst: Aislinn McGrath (John Lockes) and the team liaison is Tommy Murphy from Naomh Eoin, a Carlow legend.
Patrick (Pado) Flynn is no stranger to management having working with Carlow’s U20’s already, and a number of clubs including Celbridge in Kildare, Mullinahone in Tipperary, Commercials in Dublin and Ballypickas in Laois.
He also works with St Martin’s in Kilkenny and has done work with the Kilkenny development squads.
He’s well known around Waterford Institute of Technology too having worked with their Fitzgibbon cup side and their freshers.
