If you’re a fan of Football Manager, then we’ve got a brand new podcast series for you.
The Football Manager Football Show sees two of Scoreline’s biggest football heads – Shane O’Keeffe and I – go head to head in the world of Football Manager while having a look at the ins and outs of the footballing world of the week.
Inspired by a long-running love for one of the greatest sports games ever to hit the market and our extensive on-air coverage of the Belarusian Premier League in 2020, we’ll be charting our journey through Football Manager with the intention of getting a season’s worth of action in across a month (that’s the intention), while getting to grips with life beyond the League of Ireland and Premier League.
While I’m more of a one-club-per-save type of gamer, Shane (who happens to be Castlewarren Celtic’s manager in the Kilkenny & District League) is more of a three-clubs-at-a-time type of gamer, a conversation we get into in the first episode above.
So what’s the podcast about?
The premise is simple, each week we’ll be talking all things Football Manager and linking up with other players of the game to hear their stories and share ours, while having a look at the burning issues of the moment.
We’ll record on a Friday to release at the weekend, taking you through the ins and outs of the current Scoreline save.
Spoiler alert: In this episode we’re spinning a giant wheel full of European countries, only to not end up in Europe at all.
Episode one (above) is also available to stream on Spotify and drops on Apple Podcasts later this week.
