Manchester United were frustrated in their attempts to eat into Manchester City’s Premier League lead last night.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side played out a scoreless draw with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

It means the gap between leaders City and United is a whopping fourteen points going into Sunday’s derby at the Etihad Stadium.

Solskjaer admits a second goalless draw in four days is not ideal.

“It’s a bit of a worry, of course it is, but I know that the boys are giving everything, that’s the thing, we play every three days and I know they’re giving everything they’ve got,” said Ole.

“Their attitude and approach I’m very happy with, the quality we need to get back to what we know we can do” he added.
