Rachael Blackmore will try and reduce Paul Townends lead in the race for the jockeys championship at Gowran Park today.

The total purse up for grabs is €40,000 with Blackmore riding the Henry De Bromhead trained Arahecan . However it is the J. Motherway trained Dinny Lacey who is the favourite going into the race. Local trainers Pat Fahy, Patrick Foley, Willie Mullins and David O’Brien will also hope to have the final say in the features outcome.
Blackmore’s best chance of a winner may be on Full Time Score who is making its debut over fences in the The Irish Machinery Auctions Beginners Steeplechase.
