Blessing Kingsley has been named on the Conference USA All-Freshman team for 2020.

The awards have been announced and the Carlow native was picked on the list alongside 11 other players from across other colleges and universities.

Blessing started out her career with New Oak Boys in Carlow and also played with Hanover Harps, Wexford Youths, and is now on a scholarship at Southern Mississipi University.

Conference USA announced the 2020 C-USA Women’s Soccer Superlative Awards this week and the teams as well.

The 2020 C-USA Women’s Soccer Championship commences with four quarterfinal games Tuesday, April 13 at Holloway Field on the campus of Rice University in Houston Texas. Charlotte, Florida Atlantic, North Texas, Old Dominion, Rice, Southern Miss, UAB, and WKU will battle it out in the eight-team championship.

The semifinal round will be played Thursday, April 15th, and the C-USA championship game is scheduled for Sunday, April 17th.
