Kilkenny’s Intermediate captain Roisin Phelan says the new rules being introduced into the game this year won’t be hard to get used to.
Some rules that were trialed last year were passed at the recent congress including removal of the hand passed goal, one person on the line for a penalty, and minimal contact.
Roisin told scoreline that it won’t be a big change to what they’re doing.
“No, not too much I think because we were practicing, they trial ran them last year so even in training and stuff we were practicing along with them,” said Roisin.
“Hopefully now it will make a big difference and should help the game maybe flow a bit more and make it a bit more physical and exciting I think”.
“I’m looking forward to that, think it will definitely be a good addition to the game” she added.
