Molly Scott travels to Poland this weekend to compete for the chance to represent Ireland on the Olympic stage in Tokyo.

It’s been just two months since she last visited Poland for the the European Indoor Championships in Torun. That time it was as a solo sprinter, this time she is competing in the World Relay. Renowned as a hurdles specialist Scott will be in action in the 4x200m in Silesia, where 2017 European U20 champion Gina Akpe-Moses will also have her hand on the Irish baton.

We spoke to Molly recently who outlined she had a new coach Shane McCormack and new training partner, 12-time National champion Phil Healy. This new training regime is obviously paying dividends as Scott took first place in both of her women’s 60m sprints at the Elite Athlete Indoor Micro Meet at the National Indoor Arena last February.

Wishing the best of luck to Molly Scott who is competing for Ireland in the World Relays 2021 in Poland this weekend with the hope to qualify for the Olympics. We’re all behind you here @itcarlow Molly!! @SportITCarlow #WorldRelays21 @runmollyrun101 pic.twitter.com/VHXKmkXSSU
