Dan Ige will face ‘Korean Zombie’ Chan Sung Jung later this month in a UFC Fight Night headliner – that much we know.
It also turns out that All Things MMA co-host Myles Price has sparred previously with Ige during his visits to American Kickboxing Academy in California.
For Ige, it’s his second headline show in the space of a year, last time out dropping a five-round decision to Calvin Kattar.
The only other loss he’s seen on his UFC record came against Julio Arce in his debut at UFC 220. That debut came off the back of his run on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2017/18.
A Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt, Ige heads into his showdown with the Korean Zombie having picked up a performance of the night bonus for his lightning-fast win over Gavin Tucker on the Edwards v Muhammad card this past March to bounce back from that defeat to Kattar.
