The Football Manager Football Show #19

Mind games are rife as the summer transfer window comes to a close and our first Premier League campaign gets underway for season 3 of The Football Manager Football Show.

On this week’s podcast we’re taking a look at the first round of games for this season, including our starts in the League Cup.

With the Qatar World Cup booked for November, everything is starting early so we’re straight into the action while still going through the transfer market.

Listen: FMFshow #019

There’s more big-money signings, new contracts, debuts and departures, red cards, shock results and seemingly Shane’s punched Jiminez so hard he may have cracked his jaw.

We’re looking at takeovers, tactical adjustments and swapping between key and comprehensive highlights to get the better of games.

Teeing Up Season 3

A couple of things of note for season 3.

  • Predicted finishes: Leicester 8th (150-1), Wolves 9th (200-1)
  • Predicted top four: Man City, Liverpool Chelsea, United (Spurs are defending champions)
  • Predicated relegation: Sheffield United, Fulham, Blackburn (came up with Leicester and Wovles)
