Kilkenny manager Brian Cody says their attention now will turn to preparing for the championship.
The cats take on Clare this Saturday in what is effectively a dead rubber game as Kilkenny topped the group after their win over Laois at the weekend.
The championship starts for Kilkenny in the Leinster semi-final on July the 3rd against either Wexford or Laois.
Speaking to scoreline, Brian Cody says the Clare game is still important.
“Clare are playing really really well, they got a bad start to the league if you like, a disappointing start but since then they’ve been very strong,” said Brian.
“We’re talking about getting very very close to championship time, and everything from now on is geared towards championship (sic) and next weekend is going to be a big big test for us” he added.
