Kilkenny’s victory over Dublin at the weekend meant avoiding the next round of All-Ireland senior hurling qualifiers, but for the teams in the pot we’ve got some tasty games to look forward to.

With the draw made on the national airwaves on Monday morning, we’ve got three Munster sides and Galway in the mix.

Clare’s reward for seeing off Wexford in Ennis at the weekend is a clash with Cork while Waterford will face Galway having seen off Laois this past weekend.

This Saturday 24 July is earmarked for both games.

Semple Stadium, Thurles, will host the meeting of Waterford and Galway with a 2pm throw-in time. Clare and Cork are heading to the LIT Gaelic Grounds in Limerick for their meeting at 4.30pm.

Dublin and Tipperary await the winners of both games with Kilkenny set to face one of the quarter-final winners in the All-Ireland senior hurling semi-final on Sunday 8 August.

On Saturday evening, Laois and Westmeath will contest the Allianz Hurling League Roinn 1 relegation play-off with a 7.30pm throw-in time.
