After their victory over Clare last weekend, Kilkenny shall be travelling to Cusack Park to play Westmeath in the All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship.
Kilkenny player Denise Gaule praised the efforts of her teammates as Kilkenny began their All-Ireland championship campaign with a 0-22 to 0-16 victory away to Clare.
Gaule, who scored 0-10 in the game on Saturday, said that Brian Dowling’s side have a lot to improve on ahead of their clash with Westmeath on Saturday.
“It was a good win, it wasnt too enjoyable. It was very hot & we had to dig it out in the end. The legs were gone but we lived to fight another day”
