As a forward, the Tullogher Rosbercon man made a serious mark in the All-Ireland final replay against Galway in 2012. For his senior championship debut, Walter Walsh was thrown into the mix scoring 1-3 from play on route to a 3-22 to 3-11 victory over the Tribesmen.
