Cork will play Limerick in the All Ireland Senior Hurling final after an extra-time win over Kilkenny yesterday.
Kilkenny came back to draw the game at the end of normal time, however, Cork went on to win in extra time on a scoreline of 1-37 to 1-32.
The all Munster final will take place on August 22nd.
Speaking after the game, Brian Cody says his side gave it everything.
“Yeah for sure they did yeah, obviously brought it to extra time and could have been gone in normal time but kept fighting and brought it to extra time and unfortunately we didn’t finish off the job,” said Brian.
“Goals, goals make a difference in the end, and our goal brought us back into the game and their goal gave them that bit of breathing space, that bit of freedom to move around with confidence and to keep tapping over the points that kept that gap between us” he added.
