Former Kilkenny Intermediate manager Aine Fahey says Kilkenny will be out for revenge against Meath this weekend.
The sides clash in the All Ireland Intermediate semi-final in Nowlan Park on Saturday at 2 pm.
Aine says Meath beat them in the league with a last-minute goal and Kilkenny will want to put that right.
“That will be interesting to see how they get on in that, they played Meath in the league quarter-final and were literally pipped at the last minute by a goal that broke their hearts with the last puck of the ball, it was devastating for them,” said Aine.
“I know that they’ll probably have that little bit of revenge built up to get back at them, especially when it comes to championship, so that will be an exciting battle”.
“I’d encourage as many people to get in and support them as is possible, so it would be great to see them put it over”.
