Its a huge weekend for Kilkenny Camogie as they have three teams striving for All Ireland Semi Final success

The Senior side are in Croke Park against Cork this Sunday, while both the Intermediates and minor teams are in Action tomorrow

Minor Manager Mike Wall spoke to Scoreline ahead of the game about the advantage his minor team have with the minor club championships happening in Kilkenny;

“The girls play minor, they play minor with the club, some play junior and senior or intermediate with the club. It’s something I don’t have a major issue with at the moment. There was weeks we decided where we wouldn’t train of canceled one of our training’s as they were doing so much with their clubs.”

“I do think its important at this age group. It’s probably different for senior & intermediate, and its great to have them at knockout stages aswell, but its probably different on them because there is so much demand on it.”

Lay of the land

The minors get the ball rolling against Galway at 1.30pm in Abbotstown.

Then at 2 o clock in Nowlan Park, the Intermediates take on Meath in their game which is live here on KCLR.

While the seniors then head for Croke Park on Sunday where they face old rivals Cork at 4 o clock.

We have full live commentary of that game too with thanks to Country Style Foods.
