Gowran Park into the All Ireland Final of the Jimmy Bruen after a 3½ to 1½ win over Tramore today in Belfast .
We were guaranteed to have a new champion after the Kilkenny club defeated defending champions Berehaven from West Cork 4-1 yesterday.
The final goes ahead tomorrow as they go up against Cavan Golf Club in Shandon Park.

Gowran Park manager Eddie Scally was brimming with pride as he spoke to us at Scoreline, saying
“We are delighted. The format is matchplay, so you have two players going out and it is every second ball you are hitting, so Gowran had five teams of two, so ten players would of played”
“It is a fantastic achievement for the lads to get this far, we are very proud of them. With a bit of luck tomorrow it would be great if they could bring back the Jimmy Bruen winners trophy to Gowran Park, we would be absolutely thrilled so see it. It would be a really brilliant way to end what has been a difficult year for everyone”.
