Willie Mullins says Cheltenham Gold Cup contender Monkfish has been ruled out of the national hunt season.
Monkfish won twice at Cheltenham last year but has suffered a tendon injury in training.
Mullins announced last night that his Gold Cup prospect will not be seen on a racecourse again until October.
Mullins also confirmed that seven-time Grade one winner Min has been retired after picking up a serious injury.
