Bagenalstown Gael’s trainer Ken Hickey says they’ll be working on their scoring this week ahead of their next game.
They play Ballinabranna on Saturday evening in the Senior football championship at 7.45 pm in Netwatch Cullen Park.
Ken told scoreline after their game at the weekend that they need to sharpen that up.
“We’ve a lot of young lads, we’re not going to be able to compete with the big lads by standing around and hitting them so we’re going to have to move the ball quickly,” said Ken.
“It’s about putting away more of the scores, that’s the drill for the week, scoring practice, because I think we dominated the game (v Old Leighlin) for long periods but we didn’t score enough”.
