Carrickshock and St. Lachtain’s looked to book a place in the Michael Lyng Motors Hyundai Intermediate Hurling Championship Semi-Final when they faced each other at UPMC Nowlan Park on Sunday afternoon.
Leading by a single score with six minutes to play in the second half, Carrickshock looked like they might just survive a second-half rally from Freshford but three unanswered scores in the closing minutes send St. Lachtain’s through to the intermediate semi-finals.
