South East squad selections named for next round of Shane Horgan Cup

A total of 11 players from Kilkenny, 6 from Carlow and 4 from Tullow have been selected for the South East 17s and 16s sides for the next round of the Shane Horgan Cup.

The team selections are made of from the three local clubs (Kilkenny, Carlow and Tullow) along with Wexford Wanderers, Wicklow RFC, Gorey and Enniscorthy.

The Shane Horgan Cup is a key part of the player pathway in Leinster Rugby and is a club competition for U-16 and U-18 players that takes place each season between teams from the five different areas of Leinster (North-East, North Midlands, Midlands, South-East and Metropolitan).

2020’s iteration for U16 teams was scrapped due to Covid-19 with games rolled forward to 2021.
