UPMC Nowlan Park is the place to be this weekend in Kilkenny as the junior and intermediate hurling championships hit their penultimate weekend.

On Saturday the semi-finals of the JJ Kavanagh & Sons junior hurling championship are down for decision as James Stephens and Tullogher Rosbercon meet at 1.15pm.

At 3.15pm we’ll see Mooncoin and Slieverue lock horns in a game we’ll also be carrying live in full on air with thanks to Blanchfield’s Centra Mooncoin.

Then on Sunday it’s the turn of the intermediate’s as Fenians meet St. Lachtains at 12.15pm while Henry Shefflin’s Thomastown meet Glenmore at 2.15pm.

Tickets for both days games are on sale now with Kilkenny GAA urging attendees to have their tickets purchased in advance.

  • Buy tickets here or the junior semi-finals
  • Buy tickets here for the intermediate semi-finals

If you can’t pick up your tickets online in advance, you can nab them in select SuperValu and Centra stores including Centra in Bennettsbridge, John’s Green, Knocktopher, Mooncoin, Mullinavat and Urlingford along with SuperValu stores in Ballyragget, Callan, Loughboy, Market Cross and Thomastown.

And even if you can’t get tickets there in advance of this weekend, Kilkenny GAA have said they will be facilitating those with difficulty acquiring tickets “on Match Day at point of entry”.

Ardán de Grás will be the only stand open for this weekend’s games with entry via turnstiles on the Hebron Road.

And if you can’t make it to UPMC Nowlan Park this weekend then fear not, we’ve got you covered with all four games on air, online and in-app. See our live game details for this weekend here.
