The intermediate final is set in Kilkenny hurling as St. Lachtains defeated Fenians 2-12 to 10 points on Sunday in UPMC Nowlan Park.
The other game at the weekend saw Glenmore and Thomastown go head to head with Henry Shefflin’s side losing to Glenmore on a scoreline of 19 points to 1-13.
Glenmore will now face off on Sunday 14th November against St. Lachtains for a chance to play senior next year.
Junior
Tullogher Rosbercon has progressed to the JJ Kavanagh & Sons Junior Hurling Championship final with a 0-27 to 2-14 victory against James Stephens.
Speaking after the game, manager Bobby Aylward praised his players for their recent performances.
“We’re delighted, anything I asked the lads to do, they went out there over the last few weeks putting a big effort in training and stuff like that,” said Bobby.
“We got our results there in the quarter-finals against Emeralds and came up against the village there and they done their job”.
They will take on Mooncoin in the final on the weekend of the 13th/14th of November.
