The Camogie Association and the GAA announced Monday afternoon the retention of the GAA commercial team to represent the Camogie Association’s commercial rights.

In a new arrangement, structured for an initial three-year term, the GAA’s commercial arm will handle national sponsorship sales, sponsorship delivery and the sale of Camogie’s broadcast rights.

The association’s partnership with 2021 saw the Camogie Association lose Liberty Insurance as title sponsor for the All-Ireland series after an eight-year sponsorship. Liberty’s sponsorship also covered the All-Star Awards and All-Star Tour.

“We are excited about this commercial arrangement with the GAA and see it as a positive step forward for Camogie to maximise the ever-growing commercial potential of our sport”, Sinéad McNulty, Camogie Association, Ard Stiúrthóir said Monday.

Peter McKenna, GAA Commercial Director said: “We are delighted that we will be representing the Camogie Association across its sponsorship opportunities and broadcast rights. Women’s sports continue to go from strength to strength and Camogie is at the forefront of that growth. We are committed to supporting the Camogie Association to reach its commercial potential over the coming years through this agreement.”
