Wexford Youths captain Kylie Murphy was full of praise for Kilkenny’s Ellen Molloy on our Sunday Scoreline programme.
The Carlow native was named the 2021 Women’s National League Player of the Year and helped Wexford to a 3-1 FAI Cup Final win over Shelbourne last month.
Reflecting on the 17-year-old’s Player of the Month status, Murphy told Scoreline that when it comes to Ellen Molloy, the sky is the limit.
“I can’t even put it into words what that girl is capable of, I mean you want to see what that kid is doing in training, she’s literally dancing rings around all of us, her talent makes us better, trying to hold onto her,” said Kylie.
“She’s going to go wherever she wants to go, she’ll go as high as she wants to go, genuinely, because she’s not only talented but she’s a really good kid”.
