Kilkenny’s Walsh Cup clash with Laois this weekend has been booked for John Locke Park in Callan.
The game is on Sunday at 2 pm.
Carlow is in Kehoe Cup action on Sunday as well when they face Kildare at Netwatch Cullen Park at 4 pm.
The footballers have a busy week, they’re out on Thursday against Kildare in the O’Byrne Cup under lights in Netwatch Cullen Park at 7.30 pm.
Then on Saturday, they head for Lakepoint Park to take on Westmeath at 2 pm.
Camogie
Meanwhile four local sides are preparing for the Leinster club camogie championships this weekend.
Carlow’s Muinebheag will face Kilcock in the Junior A championship, Myshall takes on Kilrush of Wexford, Kilkenny intermediate champions Barrow Rangers travel to Camross on Saturday while Dicksboro will host Dublin Champions St. Judes in the Senior semi-final on Sunday afternoon.
