The Football Manager Football Show. Season 5: Turkey

Well hello there episode 50 of The Football Manager Football Show!

We’re hitting the end of January and cruising into mid-February in this week’s show. There’s the frustrating impact of the African Cup of Nations, there are unhappy campers being registered and deregistered for the second half of the league season and the next round of European cup competitions and then there’s the looming transfer deadline day.

Someone’s picking up a season-ending and possibly career-altering injury. Someone’s getting knocked out of the cup. Someone’s saving penalties to beat the band. And for some reason, Kevin Phillips becomes part of the conversation when the gin and whiskey run into the very wee hours of Thursday morning this week.

As always, there’s strong language throughout the podcast, but please don’t let that put you off as we mark reaching 50 episodes of your favourite (or maybe second-favourite) Football Manager podcast.

Follow along on Twitter or drop a tweet to @FMFShow to say hello.

A side bar to all this – we’ve managed to hit 50 episodes – thanks a million to everyone who takes the time to listen, whether you’re there every week or ducking in and out when it suits, it’s very much appreciated.

This episode contains strong language.
